Transmission Selection and Quotation
Selection and quotation is the first service named in company materials, and it is the service every other step depends on. This page explains how selection works at category level: the buyer narrows the category and the supply form, states quantity and timing, and receives a quotation that can be checked and compared. No product is selected on this page, and no specification is published here.
How selection works
Selection begins with the application in general terms: which assembly category is called for, AT, CVT, DCT or transfer case, and which supply form is wanted, new, remanufactured or used. It continues with quantity and timing, which determine availability, and with packing and documentation needs, which determine handling. A selection discussion that skips any of those facts will produce a quotation that must be revised, and revision after a quotation is slower than completeness before it.
A buyer who is unsure between categories should describe the intended use in general terms and the constraint that matters most, whether condition, warranty, timing or budget. The reply can then set out the category options for that case, without inventing a specification for a unit that has not been identified. That is the proper use of a selection service: narrowing a choice with stated facts, not dressing up a guess as a recommendation.
What a quotation contains
A quotation prepared from a complete selection answers which category and form are supplied, how many units are involved, by when they are needed, how they will be packed and documented, and what warranty and after-sales support apply. Warranty is stated as at least 1 year, following company materials, and certificates are available upon request, both confirmed for the specific units quoted.
Keep the quotation with the order record. A later question about production, packing, warranty or a fault is far easier to answer when it can be tied to the quotation that defined the order, and the services on this site are organised around that principle.
