Transmission Warranty Terms
Warranty on this site is stated as at least 1 year. That wording follows company materials, and it is the only warranty figure published here. This page explains what that statement means, what it does not mean, and what a buyer should confirm before ordering, so that warranty is settled for the specific units ordered rather than assumed from a general sentence.
What at least 1 year means
At least 1 year means that the warranty period for a supplied unit is one year or longer, as confirmed for that unit at quotation stage. It does not mean that every unit carries the same period regardless of category, supply form or use, and it does not mean that every fault within the period is automatically covered. The scope of cover, the conditions that apply, and the procedure for raising a claim are confirmed for the specific order, and a buyer who needs those details should ask for them in the inquiry, where they can be stated for the units actually quoted.
The distinction between new, remanufactured and used supply matters for warranty. A buyer should state the supply form in the inquiry and ask for the warranty statement that applies to that form, rather than assuming that a general warranty sentence covers all three forms identically. That question costs one sentence and prevents the most common warranty dispute: a buyer who expected one form's cover and received another's.
Raising a warranty question
A warranty question should name the order, the assembly category, the unit identification where available, and the fault or concern, so that it can be assessed for that unit. Fault analysis and after-sales consultation are the services that support warranty questions, and both work best when the question is tied to an order record. A general warranty question without an order reference can only receive a general answer, which is not a decision a buyer can act on.

Certificates are available upon request, and certificate questions should be raised in the same way, for the specific units quoted.
